The movie was one of the best. The soundtrack was so lame that I felt almost dumber after hearing it. The music from the movie itself was killer ("Watch Your Back" is the BOMB) but all this rap? BTW: The artist who did the race-wars song is BT. The name of the song is "Race Wars." :-)

I was disappointed that many of the songs I heard in the movie were NOT on the soundtrack. Some soundtracks have more than one CD to accommodate all of the songs so they could have done that with this one.

The rock song that was playing when the police raided the Asian's house was not on the CD. The song playing in Dom's red/silver car when he raced against Paul Walker's character Brian was not on the CD. There were a couple of GREAT songs playing when Dom and his team were hijacking those 18 wheelers that were not on the CD.

I was wondering where all the rock music I heard in the movie went! Why is the soundtrack all rap when there was obviously other music in there. They could have easily made two discs for all the songs. And the "Click Click Boom" video by Saliva was even on the DVD as a special, but not on the soundtrack. I give it 1 star, it disappointed me.

This is a great soundtrack and listening to the music makes me remember how fabulous the movie was (if you haven't seen it, I URGE you too). I love all of the songs, but after a while I kinda got tired of all the gangster themes. That doesn't mean I hate it!!

I think the CD is okay. However, I'm looking for the song that was playing when Brian (Paul Walker) is going to Toretto's garage in the beginning to get his "tuna sandwich." If you should happen to know what I'm talking about please post it! Thanks.

The guy who posted on the 23rd who asked about the song that was playing in the beginning of the movie when Brian was going to Toretto's for his sandwich: the song is "Deep Enough" by Live.

I also think this soundtrack is pretty lame. There should have been many others songs including the song by Live. Although the movie was great, the soundtrack isn't worth buying.

The soundtrack has some good songs, but it does not go with the movie well at all!!! It is more of a CD for Ja Rule, seeing half the songs are either by him or feature him. Don't get me wrong, i like Ja Rule and have his last two CD's but this is not a movie soundtrack. If anyone could help me find the song "Say Aah" by Shawnna - it's played when Brian drives the green eclipse into the "alley" at the beginning of the movie. I would really appreciated it if you could post it.

Seems like all the good songs are missing from today's soundtracks. I had the same problem with finding music from The Matrix that wasn't on the soundtrack. If anybody has a complete list of music for Fast & Furious besides what's on the soundtrack, please send it to me at cfasan@attcanada.net.

I got ripped off on this soundtrack big time. I mean big time. The songs on this soundtrack are better off in a gangsta movie, I mean for real. The Johnny Train Raid, man! That rock tune is what made the movie good - I can't believe it's not on the soundtrack. This soundtrack sucks.

I thought the track was rubbish. Far too much Ja Rule and other black artists. I was particularly looking forward to purchasing the track because of one song I liked, but after buying it I discovered this song wasn't on it. Unfortunately, I didn't know the name of it. It was the song played in the house party when Vin Diesel was rescued by Paul Walker. typical....

The movie wasn't bad, apart from the poor acting, poor scripting and poor directing. The soundtrack is by far better than the movie, but not all of the music from the movie features on this soundtrack, like "Superstar" by Saliva, "Debonaire" by Dope (the song played during the raid of the Asian dude's home) and many other songs. If you're looking for more songs from The Fast and The Furious, buy the second CD "More Music From The Fast and The Furious."

this soundtrack was ok but could have been better if it included more of the techno and rock songs that were in the movie, a lot of the songs on this album are good but do not match the movie very well.

I thought this soundrtack was pathetic. It's nothing but rap and hip hop. No music, just lots of bass and talking about homies and crap. And I hate how ja rule is everywhere on it and how he claimed to have been a star in the movie. He had a 30 second role and didn't even get that right. But that's just my opinion.

Ok, firstly, I thought the film was brilliant! Secondly, the soundtrack was ok, but I'm disappointed that many of the songs featured in the film are not on the soundtrack! Especially the song where Brian is invited into the house by Dom after the race! And thirdly, the song when Brian and Vince are fighting is called "Watch Your Back" by Cashmoney.

I was wondering. Did any of you see the other soundtrack that goes with this movie called "More Fast and the Furious"? That CD has the rock side in it, such as "Watch Your Back" and other good stuff. That is a good soundtrack as well. I loved both CDs.

"Watch your back" is actually by Benny Cassette. I now own the second soundtrack, too, "More Music from The Fast and the Furious" and I was disappointed when the "Debonnaire" (the song playing when Brian and Co raid Tran's house) and "Deep enough" weren't on there!!!! But otherwise it's well worth it!

I thought the movie was great, and the sequel will be even hotter. The soundtrack... I don't know, people keep saying all the songs from the movie, like the rock songs, aren't on here. Hmph, I'm glad I didn't buy it... but, most of the songs in the movie were great.

Overall, I thought this soundtrack wasn't too bad. Track 12 is definitely my favorite song on the CD. It is so cool! Also, this movie is one of my favorite movies of all time and I am very excited about the sequel coming out on June 6th. Ja Rule did a very good job with this soundtrack and I recommend this to anybody who likes rap music.

Overall, I was very disappointed with this miserable excuse for a soundtrack. There were only about 3 songs that I liked (#s 1, 5, and 12). The rest of the songs are lacking substance and don't really go anywhere and I regret buying this album. The movie, however, was totally amazing!! GO SEE IT IF U HAVEN'T!!!!

Well now that "More Fast and Furious" is out, there should be no complaints. For those who want to go out on a Saturday night and roll, put in soundtrack 1, but for those who want to race... you got to put in soundtrack 2. If not you will most definitely lose!

I was about to buy the CD, specifically for the rock song in the movie that played when the police raided the asian's house. After reading the commentaries, it would appear that I would have wasted my money, as most of the songs on the CD are rap, and that particular song's not even on it! And the music industry still wonder why people download music illegally??! Pure frustration!

This soundtrack is not cut out to be what people said it would be. People need to get off the rap thing. I mean, don't get me wrong, Ja Rule is cool, but they act like he made the movie better. I mean there was hardly any rock on the soundtrack. The song heard when they raided the asian guy's house - that was the best song and it isn't on the soundtrack.

The movie is excellent. I still watch it today. It was the hip movie of the summer a while back in my high school and still pretty much is today. But the soundtrack CD is quite disappointing. Everybody including me thought the CD would be THE thing as well. Turned out most of my friends and I were let down.

My favorite track on the album had to be Limp Bizkit's remix of "Rollin'" since I am a hard rock fan. The other tracks I find so so are pretty much rap and hip hop.

In conclusion, while not one of my favorites, it completes the movie and that for sure is a good thing.

Good movie, good music. I have one song nobody seems to know tho. The techo beat playing when Letty steps out of her car, right after her and the gang arrive at Toretto's, but it sorta plays while they arrive, and as soon as she steps out it goes into full audible. Anyone know?

I like both the movie and the music, mostly the one track known as "Brian's First Drive" build on The Revolution, by BT. But the thing the makes me give this only 4 stars is the fact that this track can't be bought, it's not on the either of the soundtrack CDs nor can I find it anywhere else. Does someone know where I can find it?

I was extremely disappointed a lot of songs in the movie weren't on the soundtrack. The whole reason I bought the soundtrack was for Dope - Debonaire - Felons & Revolutionaries and I was extremely pissed when it wasn't on there. There are some cool tracks on there however, but didn't think the soundtrack was all that great.

This soundtrack sucks BIG TIME because there are hardly any of the good songs on this that were in the movie. If they are going to release a soundtrack CD from the movie, ALL the songs from the movie should be there and not just half of them! So I rate this a 1 because the movie kicked ass but the soundtrack CD sucked.
