JK2556's review
of this soundtrack CD:
by JK2556 on 8/3/2006 favorite track: 24 Monster House could have easily gone over the top due to the technology. Though with a good script, a young ambitious filmmaker, and Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg involved, the film turns out to be something special. So is the score by newcomer Douglas Pipes, however, it fails to have a lot of the creepy eerie music, it's still an exciting and good listen. Three continuing themes (a fun suburbia theme, the three kid trio rescue theme, and the Monster House theme) alternates throughout with a final eerie piano farewell on track 24. see all reviews, or add a review
