I think "Hero" sung by Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott has to be the best song for this movie. Nevertheless, the whole sound track is good but that song just feels right. I have been a big Spiderman fan my whole life. I doubt I'm the biggest fan, but when people were playin' with Ninja Turtles, I was playing around with Spiderman action figures. I grew up listening to punk and hard rock such bands as Rancid, The Casualties, Slipknot and Pantera. Once I heard "Hero" I was just amazed in how it was composed and just the mood it will set when you seeing the movie. I think the song should get a little bit of air play on the radio.

I think the song "Hero" is one of the best songs I have heard this year. When I first heard the song on MTV during the making of the movie Spiderman, I fell in love with it. I bought the CD immediately and listened to the song over and over again. I think "Hero" fits the movie great.... I am going to see the movie this weekend and I can't wait!!!

Come on, gimme a break! The only reason this soundtrack didn't get 5 stars is because of that stupid "Hero" song! The song makes me sick!!!! Everything else is more or less cool, and The Strokes and The Hives are the brightest spots on this CD!!!! I love it.........

I too think "Hero" is really good..... the song helped me through a guy thing tonight. He loves me and I love him, but it can't work because we live so far apart. The music helps.

I think "Hero" is so cool. It makes me calm. When I hear it on MTV, I sing along. It's my favorite song on the CD. I mean, all the songs are great, but this song is the best.

"Hero" is a great song, but "She Was My Girl" is the best on the CD. Jerry Cantrell proves he truly is a genius. A must buy.

I think "Hero" is the best song I've ever heard. I was listening to it on the TV and fell in love with it. After I heard the song I wanted to see the movie. I never really liked Spider-man, but after hearing the song and seeing the movie, I'm a fan.

I love the soundtrack for this movie, every song fits a particular part of the movie. But my fave song is definitely "Hero" by Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott. I've been a Spider-man fan for as long as I can remember and this song just showcases the best of our friendly neighbourhood spider.

It is pretty. "Hero" is the most wonderful thing that I have ever heard. I think that this song makes me want to fly everytime that I hear it! If I could, I would listen to it nonestop because it makes me feel... well, I can't explain it. I just feel... GREAT!

I agree with "Hero" being a good song and all, but you have to also think, maybe some of you wouldn't think it was so good. Had it not been on MTV or played over and over on the radio, people may have a different opinion of this particular song. Say the Aerosmith song were as popular as "Hero," then people would be posting on here about how great that song is. Popularity is the only reason for some of these comments.

Look at you clones. All this "my favorite song is 'Hero' because I've seen it on MTV." Bah. Learn to like something on your own without MTV's help. If the song is supposedly so inspiring, these comments wouldn't be so pathetically the same!

I think the "Hero" by Nicklebacks singers is awesome. I also like the Sum 41 song "What We're All About." I think this is the best soundtrack yet this year.

In my opinion, I think Chad Kroeger has a wonderful voice, and all the songs he sings are great! I feel "Hero" is the best song on the soundtrack. This is one of the best songs I've heard in a while....

I love the song "Hero." I am a, if not the, biggest fan of Chad Kroeger. I have always loved his style of music and when I heard he was doing a duet with Joset Scott, I thought Scott would ruin Chad, but he didn't. "Hero" is just a perfent song. I have always hated Spiderman and was actually afraid of him, but after hearing "Hero" I now want to go see the movie. I love the video on MTV, but MTV isn't the real reason I love the song. It is so uplifting and it gives me the chills. Another job well done Chad. Keep up the great work!!!!!

I think the various songs CD is better than the original score CD because it has more variety. The song "Hero" is totally awesome, and it really lights up the CD.

I think "Hero" is the best song on the Spider-Man soundtrack. I think it deserves more than just five stars. I think it should receive at least 1,000,000 and that's that! Everyone agrees, as seen on the reviews.

This soundtrack kicks ass, though I believe CHAD and JOSEY carried the album. "Hero" is the best song on this CD, hands down.

"Hero" is the bomb. It is probably now my all-time favorite song. I have been a long-time fan of Marvel Comics. I like how they are making movies about my favorite heroes now.

I really love the Spider-Man music because it makes the movie interesting. But I noticed the soundtrack or score doesn't have the "Hairy Thumb" song in it.

This is simply one of the best soundtracks for the year. Incredible songs include the great "Hero" and "Bother." I think the music works perfectly with the movie and that the songs were smartly placed. I just love the movie and the music - a great package.

This soundtrack CD is worth every buck. Not only does the track "Hero" make the album come to life, but also the rest of the tracks. All songs give inspiration, and also that sense of FREEDOM. This album certainly gives a 7-TON natural high.

"Bother" is my favorite track, but "Hero" is the most fitting. After incessantly having "Hero" hammered into my psyche I completely lost my taste for the song, though I did enjoy it for all of a week.

I was just watching this movie in my room and I started daydreaming... after the credits a music video came on and I immediatley recognized the singer from the hit band Nickelback. I started getting to know the song... I started loving it ... IT WAS THE BEST SONG EVER. Even though the song is old... it makes me want to go out and tell this certain girl how much I feel about her... and I did... it turned out great :)

My favorite songs are "Hero" and "Bother." They are sung by two of my favorite singers Chad Kroeger (from Nickelback) and Corey Taylor (from Slipknot and Stone Sour). Bother is also on the Stone Sour.

I really don't watch MTV nor do I own the CD. I own the movie though, and I agree that the song "Hero" uplifts me. But it is because of what the lyrics along with the music challenge you to understand. I cannot but think about spiritual concepts that open my mind to understand how things actually are in our real world based on Spiderman's fantasy world. It questions the way we see spirituality: wanting always to wait for something to happen to me instead of me lifting up with the eagles and sending Love myself. First, it questions what "love" (with no capital letter) really gave us (blood spilling, killing and so), but at the end (at the bridge) the author still sends Love (even if it's not enough to save anyone). That "something" that's inside of us that challenge us to send Love even if it's not enough is simply marvelous and that's what makes me feel like I'm flying with the eagles.
