It was ok, I gave the score 3 out of 5 stars. It kind of put me to sleep. I think Horner could have done a better job.

I liked the score a great deal. The only thing that bothered me were how short some of the cues were.

The sub-dued approached by Isham was more fitting than a Apollo 13-ish Horner score IMO.

I really liked the main theme, and I thought that the orchestrations were great (kudos to Ken Kugler). I thought, that the main theme (as good as it was) was repeated a tad too much in most of the cues.

I agree with R-G-B, Im a big horner fan, but i think that this sort of score fits the movie far better than horner's style would have. Horner would have written a good score for it, but if the two were compared, i think that isham's score would fit better.

I think this is one of the best scores ever. Yes the cues in general are short but that goes in line with many of the NEWER composers these days.

The Main Theme is represented a lot which in my opinion (humble or not) is a great thing since I'm really in love with that tune.

If this score put you to sleep than that is a very good thing. First of all, to do that the music has to have an effect on your nervous system which lowers your blood pressure and slows your heart rate down. This has been a proven effect of a lot of Baroque music and is used for many different relaxation techniques. A powerful score to do that if you ask me.

However if this is not the case why you fell asleep than you just needed some naptime.
