For those of you who could care less about this score or movie- enjoy your opinion and I wish you well. But for those interested: the cover art for the score album, which is a bit strange with a side profile of Angelina Jolie's face as Lara Croft (of course- nice profile too, those lips!)

Only drawback is that they don't have a track listing or track times, as usual. But now, at least, I know I'll be looking at when I pick up the score.

    Bri-

I personally like the smiley sticking his tongue out at me (not in that homosexual way, but in that "that's damn funny kind of way").

I wouldn't say the cover art is bad, I just expected it to be a little bit more different. Score Album covers usually get the shaft if the previous "Songs" album has the cover most similar to the theatrical poster. For instance: the covers for M:I-2, Blade (which didn't even have a good poster to begin with), and don't get me started on the Batman (1989) score album cover. I honestly thought it should've been the picture on the inside of the artwork the one where he's aiming the grappling gun.

But, hey, I guess it's the music that matters, right?

I prefer some of the score art to the songtrack art. SCREAM 3 is a fine example - I really hate the songtrack cover, but the score album looks a lot better. And for me, both MISSION IMPOSSIBLE score covers are better than those for the songs.

I recently got the I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER score promo, and there's no real art on the front, just a red pattern and the title in a nice big font. Really it's nothing that you couldn't run off in half an hour on Microsoft Word. But...maybe it's just that I'm more pleased to have that CD than I would its song-based cousin, but it still looks so damn good.

NP: REVENGE OF THE PINK PANTHER (Henry Mancini). Actually, I've just noticed for the first time that it says "Revenge of the Pink PANTER" on the back!
