I recently discovered BOSTON PUBLIC on Fox.

What a great show. Probably the best I've seem in years since WONDER YEARS.

I even like Thomas Newman dry but cool main theme to the series.

But now... let me talk about Jessalyn Gilsig!
Oh man, she is something... isn't she? Uffss...

Anyway, it's great to see that USA natives are still capable of doing such a great show, although I must say all that "sexual issues" and "law suites" are quite annoying. But I understand it as a reality of the USA nowadays and it's perfectly captured by the show.

    BTW, what's your favorite character?
Mine is Harry Senate (played by Nicky Katt). He is the kind of teacher I would be - if I was a teacher...

    Cheers!

I like them all, except the one that gets annoying is the pollitacly incorrect older guy that has a really big nose and is old.

I think the show is alright. It sure beats the pants off some of that other stuff coming from FOX, UPN, or WB.
Oh, and Jessalyn Gilsig .... hmm...

Clayton, I happen to like Fyvush Finkel!

Great show by a great writer/producer. Andre, if you liked this one, check out another great show by the same guy, who btw is married to Michelle Pfeiffer, The Practice, with a great main title theme.

I think it's trying TOOOOO HARD!!! to be cute. I got tired of it after the first two show. It's one of those thing that looks good at a glance but offers nothing to make me keep watching. And the promos didn't do anything for me except

BOSTON PUBLIC was GREAT...at first. Then it turned into a soap opera wannabe. Great show at first, but by the end o the season it became rather silly. Great theme too.

I loved Ed at first. It was very funny, and very diferent. About time there was no forced b.s. audience laughter to chease down a show. If a show is funny, it does not need fake laughter. Ed is not nearly as good as it was now though, so I have stopped watching it.

From what I've seen Boston Public is a pretty engaging show, and very fun to watch, but I'll be damned if you people think it's realistic. Almost every scenerio is blown way out of proportion, but then again I guess that's all we can expect this day. It's fun, and I watch it when I can... HOWEVER, I should piss on you Andre for making the Wonder Years comparison. This show isn't near the level of excellence of The Wonder Years, a show that will always hold a large place in my tiny little heart.

I think the show is very well written, and the actors are very good too.

It was sorta like Mars Attacks.

Richard, dammit. Jerry rocks my world. What a beautiful thread. Hey, speaking of the Springer, I am about ready to propose a precedent-setting idea for the Springer show:

The first Jerry Springer show based on an internet community (maybe a movie music community):

"You want a flame war? I got your flame war!"

Of course, people will be locked down in their chairs and only able to type on computers, even though all the participants are at arm's length from one another on the set.

What do you say? Does Jerry need a ratings boost? Does everyone want to meet up in Chicago soon?

Not Goldsmith, Andre. That's for damn sure.

If "Clerks: The Animated Series" or "Newsradio" were still on the air, I might watch T.V. I loved their absurd sense of humor. Unfortunately, it's that exact sense of humor that doesn't appeal to most people.

The best of the current bunch, that I've seen, is "Becker." Very well-written show. Great humor.

    Mark O got it.

Yes, she played 7 of 9 of Voyager. I will watch ANYTHING with her in it. I even watched Dracula 2000 (which I didn't really have any interest in seeing until they announced she was in it.) I'm very much looking forward to seeing her in "The Last Man", a movie she made a few years ago before coming into the public eye in Voyager. She supposedly has a topless scene in it. It was just shown at some film festival a time or two and has never been released in any way, shape or form. From what I've read, no company wants to commit the money for a release. What!?!? Yeah, right! NO ONE wants to see Jeri Ryan topless.
    LOL

But anyway, like I said, I'd watch a 2 hour video of her just picking her nose........

And Andre? She's right down your alley........She's got Big'uns!!!
