Finally received this in the mail (the best place to buy it is www.gamemusic.com). It's FANTASTIC, any of you who havent heard it should give it a listen. Kyd's themes are at times very simplistic, but the are also very cool all the same. Also, the performance by the Budapest symphony orchestra is wonderful. Anyone else heard this under appreciated gem?

Yep, bought it a few months ago. And everything you say is right on. I love the main theme for the game with the chorus. Outstanding. That track alone was the reason I bought the cd.

It's a pretty good score. I find myself listening to Richard Jacques' Headhunter, more though. Thanks for Tim Turner for bringing it to my attention several months ago. Rich, I'll send you an mp3.

I have only heard the free online samples so far, and they are indeed quite good. For anyone interested they can be downloaded in mp3 format at Kyd's own webpage: http://www.jesperkyd.com/

Best tracks in my opinion are, track 4 "47 makes a decision" which sounds like something Poledouris would come up with, and track 7, i just love the use of spicato and mercato cello articulations.

    Hitman 3 was recently announced.

Look for Jesper's work on that one.

    Jeron,

Richard himself gave me a copy of his wonderful score and spoke to me about it. Glad you enjoy it. If I'm correct, Headhunter 2 is in production, and Richard is working on that.
