    Holy **** !

iTunes has a Best of Millennium CD release. Looks like it might be exclusive disc since I can't find it on Amazon.

9.99 for the disc, worth it!

    That was almost funny

The disc runs 22 tracks and clocks in at 76 minutes of music.

This is the season 1 score promo huh?

So, when and where do I find seasons 2 & 3.

iTunes. That's not a downloading site? I would actually purchasing a CD with inserts? I don't want mp3s. I already got the season1 promo, I don't need an mp3 version.

Oh, and hurray for iTunes! Fox must have loosened it's grip. Now we need promos for each season of The X-Files.

Like mp3.com has exlucsive Ron Jones stuff.

Well, call me old fashioned, but I just don't think the attitude is necessary, and I certainly don't think the language is either.

A comment from RYAN isn't worth getting riled up about -- it's all cynicism, so I don't know why you'd expect a compliment from him.

I have about 3 scores in my collection that I later found out to be mp3.

I think it is great that iTunes is doing this. Hopefully it has that 3 and a half minute version of the theme so you guys can finally her that beautiful thing.

I wonder if this is a compilation of score from all 3 seasons or just one.
And if iTunes will continue to crank out more including some unreleased The X-Files. Preferably a compilation from each season.

I stand by my language. ryan purposefully antaganizes and uses no facts what so ever. He does it for jollies. At least when Ford does so he does so with facts. Most of the time.

No, Ford does it just because he is Ford. The almighty film score producer.

The 22 track disc contains music from:

    The Piolt
    Marantha
    Jose Chung's Doomsday Defence (heheh!)
    Midnight of the Century
    The Time is Now
    Omerta
    Goodbye to All That

Justin to answer your question the score is like a darker edition of the X-Files. Stil using synth, Snow delivers on the dark texture of the series with some great atmospheric cues and themes. A must have for any fan of the series and Mr. Snow.

And yes it does have the full 3:38 minute theme track.

Don't tempt me devil woman ;-)

I don't have, or will use iTunes. Not only cause I don't want mp3s, but cause I don't have my own computer to install this program and don't have a credit card.

Now if Mark Snow were to contact me, justinboggan@hotmai.com, I would pay him double for a non mp3 version. Thta way the money is going to him.

I somewhat agree with Justin #2. Not with the way he went off, but his point is valid. Thanks for the info on the score Brian...much appreciated

It is meant as a Best Of for the entire series, I believe.

MarkA, no. All three season. the "Pilot" is the Pilot, which I believe is supposed to be titled, "The Frenchmen"
and the last one, "Good-bye To AllThat" is the last episoede of MillenniuM. And I think "Midnight OF The Century" is season 2.

I wanted to bring this post back up to make a comment:

We finally get some MillenniuM and what is it? mp3s on oly one service, iTunes.

You mean all this time FOX wouldn't release the music from MillenniuM cause of legal costs and not sure if they would make their money back anbd what do they do? They put it on one service that not everyone can use. They reduced the amount of potential customers and market range.
Just because millions of songs have been bought from iTuns doesn't mean there are that many customers. People buy multiple songs.
Not everyone wants, or can have iTunes. I myself stand as a example, though not a widely held one, for I don't have a computer of my own to use.
Not everyone wants mp3 or any other format where the qaulity is reduced.
Plus, I speculate here for I don't know for sure, but isn't as such that on iTunes you can download only the cues you want? FOX put up the money for 22 tracks of score and chances are not everyone that buys will purchase all 22 if, IF, unless you have to buy the whole thing at once. It would have been far better in my little opinion to make a limited edition CD set for, say, 5,000 copies for music from each season.

I don't know, I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow you're digital house down!

Oh Justin, let it be. Ya know, those who don't use iTunes, probably knows someone who does, and in almost all cases, could probably bum a cd-r off someone. To be honest, 5000 units for score album is a lot -- probably a smart move on Fox's part to go with iTunes on this one.

Gosh darnit, I 'd like to drop it but.....

Last time I checked (and that was amnay months ago) the "Scully's Theme" petition had recieved over 3,000 signatures. People who loved Mark Snow's musicf and would purchase an album with Scully's Theme. Now Scully's Theme isn't the end-all-be-all here, but maybe 5,000 was a bit high for MillenniuM. Say, 3,500. They have the Snow fans.
Yet, I know a couple people who have iTunes and no, I have not and have no intention of, asking them to get me the MillenniuM tracks.

    The time is ... later.....
