Racing Stripes
By Mark Isham, Sting, Bryan AdamsOriginal Motion Picture Soundtrack
Also featuring original songs bySTING
Inside Railand
BRYAN ADAMS
It Ain’t Over YetIn Racing Stripes, live action and computer animation combine to tell the heartwarming tale of a baby zebra named Stripes (Muniz), who is accidentally abandoned by a traveling circus during a rainstorm. The helpless zebra foal is discovered by horse trainer Nolan Walsh (Bruce Greenwood), who rescues Stripes and takes him home to live with him and his young daughter Channing (Hayden Panettiere) on their modest Kentucky farm. Stripes and Channing grow up together as best friends who, unbeknownst to Channing, share a similar ambition — both dream of racing in the prestigious Kentucky Open.
We are privy to the secret and often hilarious conversations of the animals as they help Stripes learn to find his place in the world. As fate would have it, the farm is next door to a thoroughbred racetrack and, at an early age, Stripes gets into his head that he’s not only a horse, but a thoroughbred racehorse; and he means to race.
A stellar voice cast has been assembled for the film and includes Dustin Hoffman, Mandy Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, among others.
The touching and exciting music score is by jazz great Mark Isham, who has previously scored the family hit Fly Away Home. Along with Isham’s beautiful score, the soundtrack features the new, original song Inside Rail, composed and performed by Sting, as well as It Ain’t Over Yet, a new song by Bryan Adams.
Racing Stripes, from Warner Bros., opens nationwide on January 14.

Get this now, because in 2024 this title will be re-released as a limited edition 1000 unit pressing for the Varese Club on some unknown (at press time) data/music format for $39.99. Of course, similar to the music for the stripes Sheena rode, this will sell out in two hours. So, GO.

Gee Jeff, was it really necessary to waste all that bandwith and space by copying my original post to only say "ZZZzzz?"You might want to save your energy for more important responses.

Kinda.. His scores bore me. But instead of writing a noval on why his music bores me to death, like most would on here, I just cut to the chase.
