Paul Walker stars in the fast-paced crime drama RUNNING SCARED from critically acclaimed director Wayne Kramer. Walker plays a low-level mobster who, in order to save his family, must recover a gun used in a mob hit before it’s found by his bosses or the cops. And lest you think it’s just another mob film, Kramer reveals a deeper subtext within the film’s story. He says he envisioned it as “a child’s Grimm’s fairy tale nightmare, but taking place in a mob world.”

The adrenaline-charged score is by renowned jazz composer and trumpet virtuoso Mark Isham.

New Line’s RUNNING SCARED will open nationwide on February 24, 2006.

When he and his partner are dispatched to the scene of an in-progress bank robbery and hostage crisis, Miller must face off against a well-educated criminal (Owen) masterminding a concisely plotted operation. As negotiations grow more strained, a powerful lawyer with mysterious ties (Foster) becomes involved in the crisis...and Miller slowly begins to realize that in this ultimate game of cat and mouse, rules are arbitrary, all roles are up for grabs and the black-and-white of right and wrong has blurred to a shadowy landscape of gray.

The score for Inside Man was written and recorded by Terence Blanchard and is a powerful and stirring blend of orchestral and jazz themes.

Universal Pictures’ Inside Man opens nationwide on March 24.
