    Hmmm . . .

It's funny you should mention the short length of this; I, too, was hoping for a longer release. The movie looks wayyyy to silly for me to take seriously (especially when I'm a big war aviation fan and that sequence of one of the pilots running atop the zeppelin while it's in air might be cool if you're a thirteen year-old boy; but now even I can't suspend my disbelief. And - maybe it's just me - but the aerial combat looks very unexciting due to its dated-CGI look. I might still feel like checking out Rabin's score if I hear a sound clip and enjoy it.

Maybe my math is bad but it seems like it's a good 45-50 minutes...certainly longer than some of Varese's other rabin releases (american outlaws, deep blue sea) clocking in at under 30 minutes...

For a electronic dominant score, why not.

Actually it;s an orchestral score with some synth parts. I think he even said that in his radio interview a few weeks back.

So, since David Arnold is now going to be the composer of record for FLYBOYS, will Varese be releasing this as "music inspired by?"

David Arnold is NOT the composer on this film! He had nothing to do with it.

I listened to the same interview too, on Film Music Radio? I guess I must not have heard that part. Maybe there are more synth than orchestra on the CD as compare to the final mix for the movie.
