Does anyone know if there are any plans to a make a cd using Steve Jablonsky music? I hate with a passion the darn “Album” crap!
Thanks

Pwesty, I apologize for the brash welcome you have received with your first posting. People are cranky over this, obviously. Do not let this be your last post! Welcome to the forum....

Thanks Pete and sorry BigT1981. I just get so frosted when studios only deliver half the music to a show that has great score, just drives me up the wall like you wouldn’t believe with darn “Album” crap!
Again Sorry for asking a question over again

I'm with Pwesty. I won't repeat lamentations others have already said, but where the hell are these score albums? Spider Man 3's I heard was to be released when the DVD is available, which is stupidest plan I've ever heard, and there's no news od a Transformers score. This is all absolutely ridiculous. I know the reasons why, and I'm aware of the point of view of the music labels. But if Warner Bros. can get wise on 300 and Harry Potter and The Order of the Pheonix and Fox Music, with Sony Classical, can get wise with Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, then why the hell can't everyone else? For the record, I actually, genuine tried to listen to thnat song album for Transformers. There are maybe two songs that actually belong in the film, and one that actually comes close to capturing the spirit involved in the film. The rest is stuff I think doesn't even fit. The songs they did use in the film were used in the instrumental sections mostly (during the car chases). One thing the album has in it's favor is that four songs out of the 12 are not in the film. Wisely, they left the Transformers theme by Mutemath out of the film. It's crap.
So scoopers out there - here our pleas, despite the beating of a dead horse though it may be - someone's gotta have a real answer, and I, for one, am really tired of not having one!!!
