I stayed at home all day today. I'm feeling a bit under the weather.And I think Eastern Promises was released today, so that's first on the "to buy" list along with the new DVD for Stuart Gordon's From Beyond.

Alright, just got in from work (I stopped by some stores, too). Picked up Shore's Eastern Promises, the DVD for From Beyond, and Marianelli's The Brave One as well as a non-score CD. I'll give it (Marianelli) a listen tonight and report to you tomorrow, Bri. Everyone's gonna have to check my Shore/Cronenberg thread in a week or so to catch my EP thoughts.

I avoided the clips online, but through my first listen, it's really fantastic. Pretty accessible Shore; along with History of Violence. Whoops, I spoiled my initial thoughts.

Yep a good remake of Death Wish and we also have Rocky Balboa, Rambo IV(praying with a cross then killing them by the dozens, oh Brother), 3:10 to Yuma and so on. They are definitely running out of ideas.Best, J.
