Lakeshore Records has several score CDs coming soon.

    UNTRACEABLE by Christopher Young

    IN BRUGES by Carter Burwell

DEFINITELY MAYBE by Clint Mansell (unfortunately it looks to be an iTunes only release so far)

    JUMPER by John Powell

    THE SIGNAL by Ben Lovett

    and

PENELOPE by Joby Talbot is finally coming out.

Yeah, good stuff. I was excited for Untraceable this past week, but the original release date got the ol' bump off to early March...

Untraceable and In Bruges are definite buys, and I'm curious to hear Powell's Jumper score. If the Mansell gets a CD release I'll probably pick it up too, but no itunes for me.

I really hope the release date shift for Untraceable isn't a sign that they might be cancelling the CD release. Did the release date for the Blood and Chocolate score get moved around, or did they just cancel the CD outright?

That one was bumped a couple of times, then ejected into outer space.... not even on itunes? Maybe it's there, but I haven't checked. I don't want that happening with Young's score.

Yeah, it's on there, not that I'm gonna buy it that way.

I really hope the same thing won't be happening with Young's score. I own damn near every CD of his out there, and after gettig screwed over with both Spider-Man 3 and Lucky You last year, I'm feeling a little pessimistic about this one getting bumped to March. Lakeshore does still have the link to Amazon's listing on their site, though, which I'm hoping is a good sign.

CHARLIE BARTLETT is, apparently, finally seeing a theatrical release.

Does anyone know if the soundtrack will be released or re-released or if it was already released or whatever?

It looks like Lakeshore's releases to the following are iTunes only:

CHICAGO 10 by Jeff Danna (it's short and only $5.94) I'm surprised they didn't do a full release with songs from the film on this one.

SNOW ANGELS by Jeff McIlwain & David Wingo

ADRIFT IN MANHATTAN by Michael A. Levine

    and

UNDER THE SAME MOON by Carlo Siliotto

Their release for DOOMSDAY by Tyler Bates does look to be a CD release and it sounds pretty good. You can hear samples here:

The track "Exodus" is pretty good and I always love "Two Tribes" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Ugh, Bates is scoring Doomsday? I was hoping that director Neil Marshall would bring along David Julyan from The Descent after their very good collaboration there. Bates is no-go for me.

Looking forward to the McIlwain/Wingo one for David Gordon Green's Snow Angels. Their work in All the Real Girls is good, but their (limited) work in his Undertow is outstanding, it almost outdoes Philip Glass' terrific score in that film.

I agree 100%. After Bates horribly ripping off scores like Titus and Spy Game, he's going to have to prove himself to me. And after hearing The Descent, I was really hoping to hear another powerful score from Julyan... but now it's Bates
