New to the Collection
Hey Guys,
After years of waiting and trying find at a good price I have finally gotten David Arnold sound track to the last of the Dogmen! Does anybody else here have it in their collection, I am listing to it right now and it very powerful and beautifully done music!
Just my two cents

Yeah dude, it kicks ass. Skip to "Faith & Courage," crank up the volume, and go speed down your nearest highway.

I have several of his scores including that one. However, I think he overscores in some cases. In Dogmen and Independence Day, which are both good scores, that is the case. Independence Day, which has some good themes is far too much. Over the top all the way through. Music is too much and too long. My favorite one by him is the Godzilla score. I like the percussion in it and the variety in the score. I guess one of the big things I dont like in some of his is too much volume all the way through. Overkill you might say. This is just a taste thing. I do like him though. The thing I like on him is use of a full orchestra, which only a few do these days. Maybe Chris Gordon and a couple of others, etc.J.

Stargate is a good score also, and overscored too. I like several themes in that one too though. The film was kind of a disappointment. Not as good as I thought it was going to be.J.
