As horribly as the movie was, Conti's score was pretty fun. Certainly one that I remember from my childhood. It's over-the-top and way more saccharin than any kind of treatment a He-man score would ever get today. The performances are so-so... not the best ever played by an orchestra, but not so sloppy it's impossible to listen to. Of course, what would you expect from the Graunke Orchestra of Munich? Anyway... I'm definitely debating this. Hmmmm.

Peter, if I order from you, and buy Teen Titans and Batman: Gotham Knight, will you take 3 bucks off each of those, like La La Land is doing??

Well Jeron, I assume you're joking but realize that you'll save $5.00 on shipping if you order from Peter. And if you're in California you have to pay tax if you order from LaLaLand so there's another $3.97. So MovieMusic is the better deal.

Also, the LLL $3 off is only $2 off MM's price for those two cds.

Good move by LALALA. 3000 units, $20 for 2CDs. All other labels should take note of LLL's willingness to keep a title on the shelf for more than a week!

Any specials you see from LaLaLa have not been extended to other retailers, so those do not apply in the MM store. With $1 shipping though, you should save some money... Bond1965 figured it out above. Thanks James

    Thanks Peter. Definitely ordered.

Edit: I agree with you Peter that the other labels should take note of this too if they wanna keep titles on the shelf for more than 24 hours.

By keeping on the shelf, I assume you're referring to the Units #, not the price.

"Everything comes to he who waits, and I have waited so very long for this moment" - Skeletor

I'm really shocked, but hugely thrilled that this is getting such a comprehensive release. As a kid I loved this movie to bits and the score (no matter how much Conti "borrowed" from others) has always been one of my favs. Together with Young Sherlock Holmes (which still eludes me), this has been on my list of "OOP scores I must have"!!

I'm not sure I agree with you on this. There are a few minor mistakes by individual orchestra members, but overall I think this is a wonderfully played and recorded score, fully deserving of a new release.

It's of serious academic and rigorous debate: Andrew and I spent a good 40 seconds doing impersonations of Jeron telling me that he likes the music from Iron Man... HAHA! Well, I guess that has nothing to do with the urgent matter of how he'll order Masters Of The Universe.
