Hey Guys its been about a year since we got some great releases in Bad Boys and Godzilla. Any news on more releases? Possibly a Zimmer release? Thanks

Uh...what do you mean? They've released alot since Bad Boys.
Point Break, Aquamarine, Outer Limits 3CD, Masters of the Universe 2CD, Batman: Gotham Knight, Teen Titans....or do those don't count?[Message edited by TimT on 08-09-2008]

I guess its just a matter of perspective. You notice how he named Zimmer, and Bad Boys? So Money Train or Cool Runnings might be the Epic release!

Sorry guys I know some of you do not care for Zimmer. He is my fav composer, however I was just using his name as an example of a cd release. I could have used Mancina and meant the same thing. I would enjoy a LA LA release of a Zimmer score however!!!

I would like to see Bird on a Wire get a release. Its a fun and enjoyable score before his Peacemaker-style took the lead.
I honestly think even the non-hard core fans would enjoy it.

There were mentions a while back (not from a La La Land representative) about A League of Their Own and The Fan. I personally would LOVE to see either of those released. I wouldn't mind another Mancina score either, Money Train or even Speed 2: Cruise Control (you know, provided the film doesn't come with it).But I am grateful for what they've released so far. Godzilla and Bad Boys were HUGE!!! Though I wish I would've gotten a signed Bad Boys CD as that's one of my favorite scores and is an early one from when I first started getting into film scores (freaken 13 years ago now!).

I wish they'd release a 2 disc complete version of Indepedence Day..so much great music missing..and that's what got me into film scores 12 years ago (it has been that long..)

A member here (I can't find the thread) said they called La La Land Records and chatted with an employee who said they were looking into some more old Sony scores when Bad Boys came out. Among them were Money Train, A League of Their Own and The Fan if I remember correctly. But I haven't heard anything else and I can't find the thread.

Figures. I guess it shows how much time I waste posting on forums, when I can't even remember the stuff from only 10 months ago!
Its probably a good thing MM and FSM don't keep post counts, my # of my posts must be ridiculous.[Message edited by tjguitar on 08-11-2008]
