The two scores and films I am kinda interested in for later this year are:l. Outlander, although the storyline sounds very dumb and like a poor Sci Fi TV film, the score by Zanelli sounds interesting from the clips. I like Caviezel, but I doubt he can save this film. Vikings vs the space monster, 1000 AD
2. Crossing the Line-WW I film looks interesting from the clips I have seen. Kind of looking forward to this film.
Best, J.

Outlander is already out on dvd and Lalaland Records released the score a few months back. I haven't seen the movie but the score is not bad.

My most anticipated movies this summer are Transformers 2, because I was an 80s kid, G.I. Joe, because of Silvestri, and Inglourious Basterds, because I'm always compelled to see what Tarantino does, even though I don't always find the end result all that compelling.

But I agree with you on all other accounts except Transformers 2. I am looking forward to that for numerous reasons like the sound design, the fact Michael Bay is directing, the score... the effects... yeah...

I have a gut feeling that Public Enemies, score included, will be somewhat underwhelming. I hope I'm wrong. I'll be glad to hear some Goldenthal back on the big screen regardless.

John, I could only find Outlander through Blockbuster. Seemed to be their exclusive DVD rental. Parts of it are pretty interesting and even fun, but the special effects are really poor. Didn't connect that much to the music, but I was entertained.
